Topics: Family Bonding Relates Self Improvement And Motivation ...

By Daniel Walker

Learning English as a second language is officially part of the curriculums of several countries worldwide since the advent of globalization. The customary classroom seat work task where the teacher still controls the activities while students just listen and learn remains to be the customary approach. At this point, students are bombarded with drills and the goal is to repeatedly enforce the mind of students with the correct pronunciation of a word, phrase, or sentence until they are familiar with the sounds in their minds and are capable of repeating them. There's a more effecient method!

Play is an important part of children's lives, especially infants along with toddlers. Actually, play is a necessary part of adults' lives, too. Play here pertains to the in-depth affective association concerning infants or toddlers and both parents, not just the mother. Play activities must take place in a homey environment so that real emotional bonding can be built between family members. This is critical for a child's emotional stability and provides him or her with superior initiative for personality development and motivation, especially when they become adults.

When the suitable emotional foundation has not been adequately developed, it directly impacts a child's educational capabilities. The child must first feel cherished and accepted by both mother and father so that he or she will feel protected. Then he or she is ready to be taught. So if this is lacking, an English teacher may face further challenges in emotionally relating to a student. It is not the tutor's duty to work with the parents to bridge this gap, but may be instrumental.

Due to the complexity of maths tuition, home tutoring is a necessity for a lot of Singaporean families. Creating the relaxed atmosphere mentioned above is the solution to making students ready to learn.

In learning English, writing and speaking correctly as well as effectively are part of the learning targets. Mere loads and loads of activities will not bring the preferred improvements. The "relaxed rapport" mentioned above have to be built first.
